Specialty Engineering and Collin Jackson completed a thorough multi-year restoration from 2012 to 2015 on his 1973 Brabham BT40.
Collin competed at the BC Historic Race in Mission B.C., finishing 1st in the Vintage Exhibition Race and winning the "The Pete Lovely Memorial Award".
This BCHMR permanent trophy was awarded this year to the driver judged to have delivered the most spirited performance in the performance of Vintage Exhibition Group of purpose - built racing cars.
The 2015 winner is Collin Jackson with his beautifully restored 1973 Brabham BT40. This car was formerly owned and raced by Al Lader and then the late Ron Householder. Collin crewed for Ron during the second half of the 1970's and worked on this very car.

Specialty Engineering & Metro Testing supported the Hyack Football Auction by contributing a "Be a Race Car driver for the day" Hyack Tire in New Westminster won the auction and joined the team at Mission Raceway on June 28th.
Harry Watson brought out his Ferrari 360 for hot laps during the lunch break. Murrad and his son really enjoyed the experience driving around Mission Raceway. Special thanks to SCCBC and CACC for fitting in the Charity Laps.
Harry Watson finished with two first and a second in the six car GTM grid over the two days of racing. Tracey finished with two 1st and a had great battle against Tod Schiewe in his T1 Corvette.
